Transit

The inspiration for Transit was from my reading in the book of Matthew, specifically Matthew 7:22-23.

“On that day many will say to me, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?” And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.”

What’s crazy is that Jesus was speaking to the so called religious leaders of their time! These guys were supposed to be the top tier Christians but Jesus said, no, there will be many of you who think you know me but we never really knew each other at all! These people were not living like they knew Christ but they had a lot of head knowledge and could speak fluent Christianese. They had a false sense of security. We can have all the head knowledge in the world and know all the right things to say but what is the condition of your heart? Do you blend in with the world? If so, you may want to ask if the conductor knows your name.
